A spinning washing machine with color wash, long time exposed, great! Wrong. As cool as the idea sounded the washer drum was a) too dark and b) the door glass was too wound up and reflected any light source from half across the flat.
In the end I used a polarizer to minimize the effect a bit (mostly useless thanks to the door construction and front facing camera setup) and exposed just a little bit to get rid of most of the reflection and push some more detail from inside while the drum was not spinning. Add super heavy circular vignetting and you got yourself a HAL washing machine edition :).
