Three weeks ago I had the chance to try and photograph my first full moon from in front of my parents house in Germany. That thing is brighter than I had in mind somehow! And even with the extender it was still too far away in its smaller state, the picture you see is about 1/5 of the full image.
If I am not busy during the next full moon, which is supposingly this weekend it seems, I am hopefully able to catch a bigger and better quality version, being just that tad closer from Madrid with its couple of hundred meteres above sea level, and waiting for it to be closer to earth in general.
UPDATE (2011-04-18): Unfortunately about the same distance, no gain here, indeed a loss is more correct, since Madrid has a lot more ligths going on and the picture quality was worse than the one taken in Kaarst. Sorry to disappoint folks!
